Grotte di Camerano (An)

Chi non è mai stato all’Ikea? All’Ikea di Ancona chi non ha mai notato il cartello con la scritta “Camerano” a soli 7 km? Prendendo quella strada con l’ennesimo mobile inutile montato sul tettuccio, vi ritroverete in un grazioso paese che nasconde nel suo sottosuolo un percorso suggestivo a tratti claustrofobico: un mix di storia e misteri nella giusta combinazione…

La guida dura poco più di un’ora a anche Matilde, dotata di torcetta (che consiglio in modo da farli esplorare da soli e tenerli impegnati), ha seguito il percorso con interesse “quasi” fino alla fine! Tra templari, massoni ed il presepe vivente che sotto il periodo natalizio viene allestito, ad un certo punto del giro ho vacillato un pò quando ho capito che eravamo 20 metri sotto terra! Non è possibile entrare con i passeggini a causa del percorso, quindi bimbi piccoli vanno portati con un marsupio o essere in grado di camminare per un’oretta. Non ci sono i bagni se non alla biglietteria e non ci sono punti in cui ci si può seder durante il percorso. Mi raccomando, il tutto è su prenotazione! Il prezzo può spaventare una famigliola, ma i bambini sotto i 6 anni non pagano.

Taking that road with yet another useless cabinet mounted on the roof , you’ll find yourself in a pretty village that hides in his basement an evocative underground site : a mix of history and mystery in the right combination …
The guide takes a little over an hour to even Matilde, with penlight (which I recommend in order to get kids to explore on their own and keep them engaged ) , has followed the path forward ” almost” to the end! Among the Templars , Freemasons and the nativity scene under the Christmas period that is set up , at some point in the tour I wavered a bit when I realized that we were 20 feet below ground ! You can not enter with strollers because of the location, and small children should be taken with a fanny pack or being able to walk for an hour. No toilets available during the tour and no sitting points.
